Shut up, JESSICA
I wrote a TNVW song last night. It will undoubtedly become a patch kit song.
So, buy our cassette tape so patch kit can record and release what resembles the true TNVW follow up record.
My computer now belongs to Jim’s …desires.
I am not hot.
Breakfast and lunch with my girl @jessmcdermottlives ☕️🍕🍴🍟
Happening this weekend. If you want to arrange something, you’ll now have to call me, or you might miss out if I can’t check my e-mail. I’ll check shit on the weekend at the vacation home and at the library sometimes, but you know. Give me your numbers if I don’t have them and you have any interest in ever hearing from me. FTW FTW FTW FTW
My laptop is going on hiatus soon. RIP.
I fucking love this woman. And I always will.
Things are going to get weird. And all I can do is get ready.
Ayooooo This song is about drinking every kind of liquor on wine night and the eternal struggle to not to bad things.
You asked, so here it is: one of the rough demos we finished a couple of weeks ago. If all goes well, someday in the future this song will be released on a split 7” with ____ _____ ____ & Everything
(fill in the blanks).
PATCH KIT is going to end the world. Or ourselves. Whichever comes first. Wednesday night was fun. Thanks to Kristen for the cool picture, Fun Home, Wish List and Infinity Crush for playing and Nicholas’ Cage for having us.
Check it out if you like: The New & Very Welcome, Rainer Maria, Everyone Asked About You, S/Jenn Ghetto, Dikembe
Finally. I’ve been waiting to hear this thing ever since the band posted a demo track on Bandcamp last year. Patch Kit is a new emo/indie rock band featuring Jess McDermott (The New & Very Welcome). I always bought pretty much everything she put out as TNVW and exchanged an e-mail or two with her in the past, so of course I was anticipating this EP. It doesn’t disappoint. Just as good, if not better, than her solo acoustic stuff. “Losing Weight & Gravity” is my favorite track after my first listen. I was worried that I wouldn’t like it as much as the demo version since that seems to happen a lot with me and rerecorded songs. But it’s still good. Now I’m gonna go listen to this again.
Hey everyone, guess what you can listen to and purchase now!
Patch Kit - “I Think I’m Going To Throw Up” EP now available!
The debut EP “I Think I’m Going To Throw Up” from Patch Kit is now available on cassette and a free digital download.
Patch Kit are a new CT emo quartet fronted by Jess McDermott (The New & Very Welcome). Recommended if you like stuff like Rainer Maria, Lemuria, and Denali.
Jess is my favorite and this EP fucking rules so check it out
Fun fact, we tried to get Jess to join our band in 2010 because she is one of our favorite musicians. Check out Patch Kit! They rule!
Tyler’s doing this cool thing. Tyler misses tnvw. I misses tnvw.
Here’s a video from my last solo show where I fumble through a cover song appearing on a new personal series out this summer.
We’ve been quiet over at the PATCH KIT camp on account of the fact that I just moved back to Boston in December and just started a new job a week or two ago. Mike and Jim have been passing the time traveling to far off lands for work and for pleasure. Jared has been holding down the home base. For now, I will repost this video of our most recent show at Willimantic Records for anyone that missed it and cares. My new years resolution is to learn how to ROCK.
Our EP is still in the process of being mastered and should be finished soon. It is tentatively titled I THINK I AM GOING TO THROW UP and will be released on cassette sometime in the early spring. Get excited. Or not.
